Sweaters and jumpers in cashmere

A good sweater is one you put on without thinking about it and are still wearing many years later. Our sweaters and jumpers are knitted in Mongolia from Mongolian cashmere and yak wool. Cashmere is light and soft against the skin. Yak wool is a little heavier and extra warm.

A few styles that return

We do not make a new collection every season. We have a few styles that we keep year after year. If you have found a sweater that fits well, you can buy it again in a few years or get it in a new colour.

Simple styles with details

The styles are simple, but the details are thought through. The Saran pullover, for example, has a dropped shoulder seam, a deep rib at the hem and cuffs, and a knitted vertical line down the centre front.

Undyed or dyed

Several styles come both undyed, in the animals' own colour, and dyed. Saran, for example, comes in undyed natural taupe and in a deep bordeaux.

Cardigans in cashmere

A cardigan can be unbuttoned when it gets warm and closed when there is a draught. It can be worn as a light jacket or over a thin top. We have cardigans in cashmere.

Vests

A vest in cashmere or yak wool keeps your body warm without bulk in the sleeves under a jacket. It is good when it is too cold for just a top and too warm for a thick sweater.

Caring for cashmere

Air your sweater between wears and wash it rarely: by hand, in cold water and with wool detergent. New cashmere can pill a little at first. These are loose fibres working their way out, and they are easily removed with a cashmere comb. See more under caring for fine wool.
