Cashmere scarves

A cashmere scarf is light and soft and warmer than you would think. Our scarves are knitted in Mongolia from Mongolian cashmere, and one is in yak wool, which is a little heavier and extra warm.

Triangular, long and large

A triangular scarf can be tied with the point at the front or the back, and it covers the neck without bulk. The long, narrow ones are wrapped once around the neck. A large scarf, like Yargui, can rest over your shoulders on a cool evening or serve as a blanket on the train.

Undyed or dyed

Yargui comes both undyed, in the goats' own colours, and dyed. Many of the other scarves come in several colours, so there is something for both light and dark coats.

Caring for a cashmere scarf

Air the scarf after use and wash it rarely: by hand, in cold water and with wool detergent. Dry it flat. See more under caring for fine wool.

If you want it to sit close around the neck, see our neck scarves and neck warmers.
