Details

Delger is knitted in 100% Mongolian yak wool and combines softness with a comfortable, natural warmth. The simple shape and the size of 28 × 165 cm make it easy to wrap the scarf around the neck or let it hang more loosely. Yak wool insulates well without feeling heavy and is also breathable, making Delger well suited through much of the year. The colours are yak wool's own natural shades, and the wool is undyed. A simple, warm scarf for both jackets and coats.
Care

Yak wool stays beautiful longest with gentle handling. Air your garment between wears, and wash it in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid wringing. Store folded rather than on a hanger to keep its shape.
Material and origin

Yak wool comes from the animal's soft undercoat, just like cashmere from the goat — it's not the guard hairs but the layer beneath that's used. It's combed out in spring, when the animal naturally sheds its winter coat.

A single yak yields enough wool for a whole sweater on its own — far more than a single cashmere goat can provide. Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia, the same place the animals live.
