Ordo neck scarf

Elegant cashmere neck scarf knitted in 100% Mongolian cashmere in a narrow format that drapes lightly around the neck and doesn't add bulk under a coat or jacket. The three colours each give their own look: Cobalt blue adds a clear blue accent, Soft grey is light and muted, while Natural taupe has a calm, neutral tone. At 22 × 150 cm it's easy to wrap once around the neck or let the ends hang loose. The fine cashmere gives warmth despite the simple and relatively light format.

Cashmere stays beautiful for the longest time with gentle handling. Air your clothes between uses and wash them in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid twisting. Store folded rather than on a hanger to maintain shape.

Cashmere is the goat's finest undercoat — the innermost layer that keeps the animal warm through the Mongolian winter. That's why the fibre can be both light and warm at once, and why it feels soft against the skin rather than scratchy.

Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia. That's rarer than it sounds: Mongolia is the world's second-largest supplier of raw cashmere, but only a small share is processed into finished garments in the country. Most is sent elsewhere for production.
