Cashmere products for children from Undarmaa are created with the same care and quality as our collections for adults. Here you will find soft hats, small scarves, vests and mittens that provide warmth and comfort for the little ones - all in natural materials from Mongolia.

Eeltei Baylag – community of nomadic cooperatives

The products come from our partner Eeltei Baylag , a community of nomadic cooperatives that has been working for more than a decade to combine traditional animal husbandry with modern, responsible methods. The project was originally supported by Veterinarians Without Borders , and today Eeltei Baylag stands as a model for how Mongolian nomads can ensure both animal welfare and the balance of nature – while strengthening their local economy.

Knitted by women in town and country

Part of the production is carried out by women in the capital Ulaanbaatar , who knit in their own homes, which for some is a ger (felt tent) on the outskirts of the city. They use small knitting machines and each specialises in one or two products. In addition, women in the cooperatives hand-knit the small baby booties. This provides both flexible income and a safe way to work for women with limited financial opportunities.

Different paths to the same goal

Eeltei Baylag's way of working differs from our more established suppliers, but the goal is the same: to create high-quality products with respect for nature, animals and people.
