Undarmaa's cashmere products for children are created with the same care and quality as our adult collections. Here you will find soft hats, small scarves, vests, and booties that provide warmth and comfort for the little ones—all made from natural materials from Mongolia.

Eeltei Baylag – community of nomadic cooperatives

The products come from our partnerEeltei Baylag, a community of nomadic cooperatives that has been working for more than ten years to combine traditional animal husbandry with modern, responsible methods. The project was originally supported by Vets Without Borders, and today Eeltei Baylag stands as a model for how Mongolian nomads can ensure both animal welfare and the balance of nature – while strengthening their local economy.

Knitted by women in towns and rural areas

Part of the production is carried out by women in the capitalUlaanbaatar, who knit in their own homes, some of which are gers (felt tents) on the outskirts of the city. They use small knitting machines and each specialises in one or two products. In addition, women in the cooperatives hand-knit the small baby booties. This provides both flexible income and a secure way of working for women with limited financial opportunities.

Different paths to the same goal

Eeltei Baylag's way of working differs from that of our more established suppliers, but the goal is the same: to create high-quality products with respect for nature, animals, and people.
