Namuun hoodie

Namuun is knitted firm enough for the hood to hold its shape, yet light enough to wear all day. There's no zipper or pocket at the front, so it feels more like a knitted top than a classic sweatshirt.

The cut is straight with dropped shoulders and wide, soft edges at the cuffs and hem. It looks great with jeans or the matching cashmere trousers.

The hoodie comes in one roomy size for those who normally wear M–XL. In the photos it's worn by a model who is 174 cm tall and normally wears M; here it sits loose and oversized. If you wear XL, expect it to sit closer to the body.

Available in Natural white — a clean, natural white — and Natural taupe, a darker greyish-brown shade. Both in undyed cashmere.

Cashmere stays beautiful for the longest time with gentle handling. Air your clothes between uses and wash them in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid twisting. Store folded rather than on a hanger to maintain shape.

Cashmere is the goat's finest undercoat — the innermost layer that keeps the animal warm through the Mongolian winter. That's why the fibre can be both light and warm at once, and why it feels soft against the skin rather than scratchy.

Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia. That's rarer than it sounds: Mongolia is the world's second-largest supplier of raw cashmere, but only a small share is processed into finished garments in the country. Most is sent elsewhere for production.
