Tuya turtleneck

Tuya is knitted in 100% Mongolian cashmere in an oversized fit, with good length that reaches some way past the hip. A cable pattern runs down the back of the sleeves, breaking up the otherwise simple knit. The shoulder seam is marked with a black edge running diagonally from the collar down toward the sleeve — the same black line reappears at the cuffs and hem.

Available in natural taupe – a dark greyish-beige shade in undyed cashmere. The model is 174 cm tall and wears size M.

Cashmere stays beautiful for the longest time with gentle handling. Air your clothes between uses and wash them in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid twisting. Store folded rather than on a hanger to maintain shape.

Cashmere is the goat's finest undercoat — the innermost layer that keeps the animal warm through the Mongolian winter. That's why the fibre can be both light and warm at once, and why it feels soft against the skin rather than scratchy.

Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia. That's rarer than it sounds: Mongolia is the world's second-largest supplier of raw cashmere, but only a small share is processed into finished garments in the country. Most is sent elsewhere for production.
