Erkhem hat

Erkhem is knitted in 100% Mongolian cashmere and has a fine ribbed structure that gives the hat a simple look and a comfortable fit. The light cashmere yarn keeps you warm without feeling heavy and makes the hat comfortable to wear for longer periods. Wear it turned up for a closer, classic shape, or down for a more relaxed drape. A simple hat for the cooler months, where cashmere's softness and warmth take centre stage.

Cashmere stays beautiful for the longest time with gentle handling. Air your clothes between uses and wash them in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid twisting. Store folded rather than on a hanger to maintain shape.

Cashmere is the goat's finest undercoat — the innermost layer that keeps the animal warm through the Mongolian winter. That's why the fibre can be both light and warm at once, and why it feels soft against the skin rather than scratchy.

Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia. That's rarer than it sounds: Mongolia is the world's second-largest supplier of raw cashmere, but only a small share is processed into finished garments in the country. Most is sent elsewhere for production.
