Onon lumbar warmer

Onon lumbar belt is a modern interpretation of the classic camel wool belt, which for generations has been used to keep the back and stomach warm. It's knitted in 100% camel wool from Mongolia, giving a natural, deep warmth that's felt immediately – more so than with ordinary wool belts.

The belt sits softly and flexibly around the lower back, back or stomach, and can be used for everyday comfort, sedentary work, walks, or as extra support during, for example, gardening or light exercise.

Onon is unisex and available from S to XL, with an elastic knit that adapts to the body without pinching.

SIZES

Camel wool stays beautiful longest with gentle handling. Air your garment between wears, and wash it in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid wringing. Store folded rather than on a hanger to keep its shape.

Camel wool comes from the camel's soft undercoat, combed out in spring in the same way as cashmere and yak. The wool's golden, natural colour is the camel's own.

A single camel yields several kilos of wool a year — far more than a single cashmere goat or yak can provide. Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia.
