Temee mittens

Temee is knitted in 100% Mongolian camel wool and has a double construction that gives extra insulation without making the mittens heavy. The camel wool's soft undercoat feels comfortable against the skin and holds warmth well, while the material has a natural lightness. The mottled dark camel colour is the camel's own shade and therefore completely undyed. A warm, simple pair of mittens where the material's natural play of colour is allowed to stand out clearly.

Camel wool stays beautiful longest with gentle handling. Air your garment between wears, and wash it in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid wringing. Store folded rather than on a hanger to keep its shape.

Camel wool comes from the camel's soft undercoat, combed out in spring in the same way as cashmere and yak. The wool's golden, natural colour is the camel's own.

A single camel yields several kilos of wool a year — far more than a single cashmere goat or yak can provide. Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia.
