Details

Navcha is thin and light and drapes softly around the neck without adding bulk. It can be tied snugly around the neck on cold days or looser as a small everyday scarf. Compact enough to grab in the dark if your neck gets cold at night.

The scarf is plain-coloured with a small embroidered mark in one corner, in the same colour as the scarf. The small size and neutral colours make it just as well suited for men as for women.

Navcha measures 70 × 70 × 105 cm — the long side is wrapped around the neck, and the point falls down at the front. Available in Natural sand, a light beige, and Natural taupe, a dark greyish-beige.

Care

Cashmere stays beautiful for the longest time with gentle handling. Air your clothes between uses and wash them in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid twisting. Store folded rather than on a hanger to maintain shape.

Material and origin

Cashmere is the goat's finest undercoat — the innermost layer that keeps the animal warm through the Mongolian winter. That's why the fibre can be both light and warm at once, and why it feels soft against the skin rather than scratchy.

Both the yarn and the knitting are made in Mongolia. That's rarer than it sounds: Mongolia is the world's second-largest supplier of raw cashmere, but only a small share is processed into finished garments in the country. Most is sent elsewhere for production.
