Nomad yak wool slippers are knitted from 100% pure yak wool and designed for those who want maximum warmth and comfort at home. They fit loosely around the foot, feel thick and comfortable, and provide natural warmth without being too tight.

Yak wool is known for its excellent insulating properties and its special ability to retain heat, even in cold weather. The fibers come from free-roaming yaks in the Mongolian highlands, where temperatures fluctuate wildly – which is precisely why the wool is extra robust and warm.

The slippers are designed for indoor use as a cozy alternative to socks. They are not intended as actual slippers and should not be used on hard or rough floors, as this will cause them to wear out more quickly. However, they are ideal for quiet moments on the sofa, in bed, or on cold mornings when your feet need extra warmth.

The color is undyed and natural—the yak wool's own dark brown shade—completely without dyeing.

Yak wool requires the same gentle treatment as cashmere. Wash in lukewarm water with a mild wool detergent and dry flat on a towel. Air frequently instead of washing to preserve the natural properties of the fibers.
