Khaliun hue

The Saruul cashmere hat is knitted from 100% cashmere from a nomadic cooperative in Mongolia.
The yarn comes directly from the cooperative's own animals, and each hat is knitted by women who work from home in the capital Ulaanbaatar or in the nomadic cooperatives.

The classic ribbed knit model fits snugly around the head and covers the ears, keeping your child warm and protected from the cold. The soft ties can be easily tied under the chin to keep the hat in place, even when your child is moving around. The cashmere feels light and warm against the skin – without itching.

The color Natural Sand is one of the four natural cashmere colors.

Cashmere stays beautiful longest when handled gently. Air your clothes between wears and wash them in cold water with wool detergent. Dry flat and avoid twisting. Store folded rather than on a hanger to preserve the shape.

Cashmere er gedens fineste underuld — det inderste lag, der holder dyret varmt gennem den mongolske vinter. Derfor kan fiberen være både let og varm på én gang, og derfor føles den blød mod huden frem for at kradse.

Både produktion af garn og strikning sker i Mongoliet. Det er sjældnere, end det lyder: Mongoliet er verdens næststørste leverandør af rå cashmere, men kun en lille del bliver forarbejdet til færdigt tøj i landet. Det meste sendes videre til produktion andetsteds.
