Khangai is a classic cardigan made from 100% yak wool from Mongolia – designed to provide natural warmth and comfort for many years. The dark brown color, yak brown, is undyed and comes directly from the yak ox's natural coat. The soft, dense knit makes it comfortable to wear both as a mid-layer in winter and as a light jacket replacement in the transitional seasons.

Yak wool is naturally warm, breathable, and durable. It comes from the yak, which lives on the Mongolian plateau, where it is adapted to extreme temperatures. The yarn provides a soft but robust material with a natural, rustic look.

Yak wool requires the same gentle treatment as cashmere. Wash in lukewarm water with a mild wool detergent and dry flat on a towel. Air frequently instead of washing to preserve the natural properties of the fibers.
